Abstract (EN)

Burdur, which is located in the Teke region, is one of the most known provinces by the local people and has folk dances. The types of dance in this study are; teke zortlatması, kıvrak zeybek (teke zeybeği), düz / kırık hava, kabardıç, alyazma zeybeği, avşar zeybeği, serenler zeybeği, guluman zeybeği, iğnem düştü yerlere zeybeği, top şeker zeybeği The aim of this research is to examine the melody, rhythm and movement characteristics of Burdur folk dances. In the method of this study, descriptive analysis was applied in order to comprehend qualitative data and content analysis was applied in order to examine and interpret in detail. In the study, the melodies accompanying the teke zortlatma, kıvrak zeybek (teke zeybeği), düz/kırık hava, kabardıç, alyazma zeybeği, avşar zeybeği, serenler zeybeği, guluman zeybeği, iğnem düştü yerlere zeybeği, top şeker zeybeği dances in Burdur region and the rhythms in line with the local playing techniques were given in the form of a triple score in order to create harmony with the figurative movements of the dancers. The study was concluded by selecting the melody or melodies of the dances of the Burdur region, sampling their rhythms by diversifying them within the local framework, analyzing and writing down the figurative movements of the dancers and integrating these elements and notating them.
