Abstract (EN)

In this study, the Bursa Research Center aims to determine the musical-verbal analysis of Bursa folk songs compiled within the scope of ''Intangible Cultural Heritage Project and their availability in music education. For this purpose the sample of 35 folk songs published with their notes in the book called ''Bursa Köylerinde Ninniler, Maniler, Ağıtlar, Türküler, Giyim Kuşam ve Halk Oyunları'' in the set of ''Intangible Cultural Heritage'' consisting of 8 books published in 2014 has emerged as a result of the field studies of Bursa Research Center.In this research, which is a descriptive study in which the screening model is used according to the form of work analysis of the folk songs that constitute the sample, their usability in music education has been revealed by analyzing them in terms of makamic features, rhythmic structures, voice widths and literary structures. In this direction, it has been concluded that the Bursa folk songs that make up the sample are mainly in the makam of Hüseyni and 8 sound range, mostly consist of 9/8 rhythm, their poetry structure is mostly in the form of 'koşma'. They are all verbal and work on love and love themes and can be used in different purposes and levels of music education. Keywords: Music education, Turkish folk music, Bursa folk songs
