The fact that it occupies more time and it does not atone for causes the number of people dealing with this art to decline.Location will not be able to compete with the mass production machine shop that makes the hand carving workshops decreases. Wood carving masters could not get for their efforts and they could not transfer their children complain about this profession because of economic concerns.To increase opportunities for promotion and marketing of furniture, carving İnegöl domestic and foreign fairs are organized. Although some productions are sent both abroad and different places in Turkey, since there is a demand to cheap productions the demand to machinery productions is increasing. And this situation causes the number of the handicraft workshops to decrease. Today the number of people dealing with this art is decreasing, almost no one maintains this traditional work. If both the government and the people dealing with this art do not take some precautions, this traditional wooden carving art which can not keep up with machinery production will be limited with works exhibited in museums.
