Özet (EN)

In this study the fact of immigration which emerged as a result of the wars that took place in the last century, especially in Kobani which was attacked by World War II, the Iran-Iraq War, the Syrian Civil war and the ISIS is analyized in terms of contemporary art. The artists discuss the cultural differences, the despair of immigrants, refugees and the asylum seekers, the brain drain, the urbanization and the fact of alienation caused by the post war immigration in their works. In addition, the disappearance of old traditions and customs, assimilated beliefs, remembering memories of the past, and the statelessness of the immigrants are also examined. The artists under the the influence of post war immigration express the brutality of war, its brutality, its despair, its destructiveness and its displacement, the borders between man and nature, and the negative impact of these borders and war in their works. It is observed that the artists, who were exposed to immigration after the war produced striking works by using different techniques and methods instead of traditional techniques. While war and immigration remind many situations and feelings such as pain, sadness, separation, loss in their own fact, it is seen that the concept of creativity in art has come to life again in the artists who live in that moment. Key words: War, Migration, Contemporary art, Post-war art
