Social reality in contemporary Turkish painting and Nedret Sekban

The artist who is part of the society that defends his social realist tendency. It deals with the events and culture that exist in social life within the social characteristics of the environment in which it lives as a form of artistic expression. In the 19th century, the changes that occurred in the social structure as a result of industrialization and the transition to democracy movements that started in Europe, especially in Europe, were reflected in the artistic understanding of the countries, and therefore the art of painting was also affected by these changes. While the desire to have a good status in the history of mankind has always maintained its importance, the reflection of social problems on art has been inevitable. In general, a form of expression for society has been formed by taking its resources from social life. Art movements had a strong interaction with the political and economic developments that were influential in the USSR, the USA, Germany, Mexico, Italy, and France. His Works are classified under the headings " social and critical realities." The emergence of the "Social Realist" movement, its development process on Turkish painting art, and the studies done in this direction are included in this current Turkish painting that started in the world.
