Lexicon in Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı's Ziya'ya Mektuplar

Cahit Sıtkı is one of the most important poets of Turkish literature. In our thesis, Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı's 'Letters to Ziya' was examined. The purpose of our review of this work isto; The interest between the identity of the artist and the work has been tried to be demonstrated in terms of the presence of words. The study is based on a book published by Asset Publications in 1957. However, Ziya Osman Saba's article "Our Days with Cahit", which was included in the first pages of the book, was not included in this study. The study consists mainly of two parts: Introduction and Review. The introduction includes the subject, purpose, scope, method, spelling and evaluation of the work, Tarancı's life, literary personality, works and the presence of words. In the review section, the words; names, verbs, adjectives, envelopes, pronouns, propositions, conjunctions, exclamations, idioms, proverbs are divided into main and subheadings. In addition, actuals are included. Excel program was used in the review section of the work and all words were scanned. Repeti repeated words were never addressed again. The study noted the tasks of words in a sentence, removed shooting attachments, and classified words as unsexpurued. The study ends with the result and bibliography part.
