An analysis of the relationship between organizational silence and organizational socialization in working women

Abstract (EN)

The organizational socialization process is of great importance both by the employee and the organization. It emphasizes both the function and the importance of organizational socialization in terms of employee's definition of organization, adoption, fulfillment of organizational requirements and attainment of job satisfaction. The concept of organizational silence is that employees are not allowed to express any negative situation by accepting and accepting negative situations they have experienced in their organizations and they are expressed as silence without saying technical or behavioral ideas and opinions about the organization. In this context, the purpose of the research is to contribute to the literature by explaining the relationship between organizational silence and organizational socialization. Within this scope, 498 questionnaires were collected from women who constitute the universe for research. When the collected questionnaires were examined, it was concluded that 417 of these questionnaires could be used within the scope of the research. Although there was no significant relationship between the organizational socialization and organizational silence main variables, there were significant relationships between the two variables and some subscales of the variables. There was a negative relationship between the dimensions of organizational socialization and organizational silence and the managerial dimension.
