Abstract (EN)
The resources changes dy bay day based on today's business world that is developing and aiming at "sustainable growth". While the production, sales, marketing, innovation and eventually marketing of personal products developed specially for the consumers' demand is a changing reality of the business world, it is undeniable that the internal dynamics of organizations, that support this change and play an active role in the realization of this change, also differs. Changes in human resources and organizations over time made the change in leadership behaviors of managers compulsory. Now, the sense of trust between the manager and the employee, transparency in relations and ethical values has gained importance. As a positive leadership style that coincides with these concepts, it appears as authentic leadership. In this research, "Positive Psychological Capital" based on the development of the positive emotions of employees in self-efficacy, optimism, hope and resilience, and "Emotional Intelligence" based on self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skill and the effects of these two concepts on Authentic Leadership perception are examined. The main target in profit-oriented family companies is always profit and thus sustainable growth. Sustainable growth is achieved by an effective leadership understanding. While analyzing family companies, many different leadership characteristics are observed. Our aim is to analyze the concepts of positive psychological capital and emotional intelligence on the way of sustainable growth of family companies and to reveal how these factors affect authentic leadership perception. In this study, based on small, medium and large-scale family companies operating in Adana; It is aimed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and positive psychological capital and authentic leadership perception. To be able to achieve this aim, a questionnaire application, which is one of the quantitative research techniques, was used. Rotterdam Emotional Intelligence Scale" developed by Peekar et al. (2017), "Positive Psychological Capital Scale" developed by Fred Luthans et al. (2007) and "Authentic Leadership Scale" developed by Walumbwa, Avolio, Gardner, Wensing and Peterson (2008) were used. Another aim of the research was to test whether there is a significant difference between the research variables and demographic factors including gender, marital status, age, education, working time in the organization and working time in the sector. Research subject data were obtained by using correlation, Anova and regression analysis methods by using relevant statistical programs. As a result of the research, it is concluded that there is a significant affect of the Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychological Capitals of the employees on Authentic Leadership perception.
