Özet (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to investigate both the effect of work-life conflict and its dimensions on burnout and its dimensions, and, how gender role differs on this effect. A survey was conducted on a sample of 350 men and women working in different organizations in Ankara. SPSS (20.0) package program was used to analyze data which was obtained during the study. Results reveuled that, ın the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, which are sub-dimensions of burnout, there is no significant difference between men and women. It is statistically proven that, women are more exhausted than men in the dimension of personal success, which is another sub-dimension of burnout. When the variance of work-life conflict variable according to gender is examined; In the sub-dimensions of work-family and family-work conflicts, women have a higher average than men in the sub-dimension of work-family conflict; and that men have a higher average in the family-work conflict dimension than women. It has been observed that the gender component does not make a significant difference in the dimensions of work-life conflict and burnout and its dimensions.
