Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, native dialects of Çanakkale province, which has not been studied individually up to now, is addressed. The thesis is composed of three main parts: research, texts and a dictionary. In the prologue, the history, geographical and demographic characteristic of Çanakkale province is mentioned. In the research part, vocal and form characteristics of native dialects of Çanakkale province is examined by supporting with examples from collation texts. Texts part contains translated forms of collections. In the dictionary part, words, that are thought to reflect native dialects of the province and that are difficult to know and are difficult to deduce by connotation, are included. In the bibliography which is the last part of the study tag of source works that make use of the thesis are listed. With this study, it is aimed to make a significant contribution to native dialects studies in Turkey and to eliminate an important deficiency in this field.
