Celal Silay's art and literature writings

In this study in which Celal Sılay?s, one of the most important poets andcolumnists of Turkey, life and his literal works; writings about him, his writings about art and literature are collected and reviewed, it is concentrated on the opinions of the poet about art and literature. It is tried to discuss the opinions of him about theart and literature based on his writings. Sılay?s writings were published in the newspapers of Vatan (1940-1944), Tasvir-i Efkar (1944-1945), Ticaret Postası (1951), Yeni Memleket (1952-1956), Yeni İstanbul (1955-1956), Yeni Gazete (1957), Her Gün (1959-1960) and journals of Yücel (1939-1940), İnkılapçı Gençlik (1941), Demet (1943), İşte (1944), Her Hafta (1943-1950), Büyük Doğu (1950), Doğu-Batı (1952-1955), Esi (1956), Yeni İnsan (1963-1971). As much as Celal Sılay whose writings were published in the newspapers and journals intensively between 1940 and 1965 has writings of art and literature, his writings considering the daily problems of society and trying to find a remedy forthese problems were published. These kinds of his writings are even much more thanhis writings about the art and literature; but this work involves just his writings aboutthe art and literature.
