Religion and sufism in Cemali's divan

Sufism which is existent in the ferment of Turkish-İslamic civilization with all civilization in Muslim lands has permeated every area af life, from daily living to art, from custom to statecraft; has added them finesse and aesthetic. It has showed itself especially in the fields of art and literature with all its glory. It has concuded the recreated of art and literature and also expressed itself in the nicest way through them. Cemaleddin-i Uşşaki lived in 18. century is the distinguished commissary of literary tradition which has processed in the pot of Sufism. Cemali the re-creator of Uşşakî order was the prestigious sufis of his age. His divan contained 345 poem has a significant place in the literature of Sufism. In this study, focused on the religious and sufistic concepts in the Divan of Cemali Efendi who has passed religious and sufistic educated and reached chair of guidance. Poet who has guide, admonished, infused and advised in his poems as a guidance is fairly master of sufistic concepts. In the study, it is intended to be understood that how religious and sufistic concepts have a response in contemplation and poetry word of Cemali. Moving from here, firstly, concepts in the Divan have been ascertained and then individually focused on them. Concepts have been ascertained have been attemted to explained with help of general information from various encyclopedic and source works and samples from verses of poet.
