The translation and evaluation of the work "Cemiyet-i Akvâm Turkey and Iraq border matter"

Irak stayeel under the control of Ottomon Emprie betwen 1521-1922 in total 401 years Türkey-Irag relationships began to take forms abaut Mousul, petrol and Kurdish goverment issues at the time Turkish war of independence. Relationships between Turkey and Irag continved at the Turkish Republic Time Iraq was under the and some problems concerning the borderissues emerged at the first years of Turkish Republic. The Mousul issue was the most importent one among the problems affecting Turkey. Because Mousul was in the borders of Misak-ı Milli fort the struggle of independence. As for England which was the winner country in the first World war supparted that Mousul should be in the borders of Irag. As the problem was not solved in Lousanne Conferance, England left this issue to the Cemiyet-i Akvâm to provide the peace in the World. Turkey-Irag border issue was solved by signing éBorder and Goog Neighbourhood Treaty"in beetween 1926 Turkey-England and Irag goverments after examining Cemiyet-i Akvâm reports. After this treaty relationships imprared and Turkey accepted Irag formally in 1927. Diplomatic relationships between two countries contunued until today in friendy atmosphere by changing in to neighbourhead relationships mutually.
