Abstract (EN)

Hospital infections continue to be an important health problem since they seriously increase the rate of mortality and morbidity as well as hospital care period and treatment costs. Acinetobacter species of bacteria, factors of hospital infections led to an important place. Reasons of these factros are, they can live easily in outdoor conditions and their ability to acquire multiple resistance to antibiotics. Fast and accurate detection of Acinetobacter baumannii outbreaks is important in the treatment and control of epidemic infections. In the outbreak epidemiology analyze of total genome polymorphism by Pulsed-Field Gel Electrophoresis is the most confident method and gold standard method in genotyping. Purpose of our study, investigate the various clinical materials cause of nosocomial infection was isolated as 93 pieces of carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii isolates of PFGE with the molecular similarity between 1 December 2013 - 30 June 2014 in the Firat University Hospital Central Laboratory and Department of Infectious Diseases Laboratory. 93 units of A. baumannii strains by disc diffusion method according to the antibiograms, imipenem resistant ratio was found 100%. Typing 93 A. baumannii strains showed 30 different PFGE profiles. Strains to clonal correlates, located in the seven different clusters. A total of 93 strains of A. baumannii, 80 of them are located within any cluster. Clustering of strain rate %86. In our study, the maximum number of isolates with 1 cluster of the 55 strains set of dates in the isolation were examined, this clone seen to persist for about 7 months in our hospital. As a result; this study showed in our hospital A. baumannii isolates similar, after 7 months is a long time to pass. In addition, PFGE is a manner similar to other studies in the identification of similarities or differences between isolates available was considered to be the most important insulting method. Key Words: Acinetobacter baumannii, carbapenem resistance, PFGE, genotyping
