The purpose of this study is to investigate the book "Jawahir AlKalam An Aimmat Al-Alam" by Ibn Sharaf al-Zuri'i (d. 779 AH-1377 AD), It is a book of selections of poetic and prose sayings on various topics: such as praise, thanksgiving, and lamentation arranged by the author in chapters, as for the scope of the study, it is determined by the beginning of the chapter on kindness and praise, to the end of the chapter on what was said about gratitude. The study relied on two copies available in the National Library in Paris. As for the study method, the steps of the historical descriptive approach were followed, when tracing the personal and scientific translation of the author, as well as the analytical approach when analyzing the author's method of writing, and standing on its most important sources, as for the critical approach, when evaluating the book, and referring to its most prominent advantages, and what it omitted, as well as the scientific approach in investigation and commentary. The most important conclusions were: Lack of information about the author's personal and scientific life, And that the author gathered in his book his selections of poems and prose sayings sequentially without commenting, preface, explanation, or addition, so his effort was a collection of scattered within chapters and titles, and that he relied on Authentic Literature books without declaration, and cited many sayings without attributing to their owners, and he took great care of the titles of kings and princes, and in the style of noble speech, His personality was highlighted by what he mentioned in the chapters of the book of prose and poetic anthologies that expressed his delicate literary style and his delicate sense, and this made his book a literary book rich in every wellknown saying, strange and wonderful, and every beautiful thing, reflecting the literary culture in the eighth century AH.
