Abstract (EN)

In this study, determination of some phenolic acids (rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid, vanillic acid and ferulic acid) and metals (Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Pb, Ni, Co) in species of walnuts Yalova and Kaman leaves, gren husks and kernels. HPLC-DAD used in conjunction with C18 column for determination of phenolic acids. Flame AAS used by dry ashing and microwave digestion method for determination of metals.Kaman and Yalova walnut species, the highest value of phenolic acids were found for vanillic acid in Yalova walnut leaves 4817,33 ppm, for ferulic acid in Kaman walnut leaves 342 ppm, for caffeic acid in Yalova walnut leaves 3690,8 ppm, for rosmarinic acid in Kaman walnut leaves 659,5 ppm.Concentration of Pb, Ni, Co ve Cu were determined by microwave digestion samples were below the detection limit in both types of walnuts. Kaman and Yalova walnut species, the highest concentration were found for Fe in leaves 260,05-138,75 ppm, for Zn in kernels 81,7-76,633 ppm, for Cu in kernels 14,06-15,9 ppm, for Mn in leaves 78,967-88,23 ppm.Anahtar Kelimeler: Phenolic Acids, Walnut , Juglans regia L., Metal, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Rosmarinic Acid, Vanillic Acid, Caffeic Acid, HPLC-DAD, AAS.
