The mediating role of organizational resilience capacity in the effect of environmental turbulance on organizational ambidexterity: A research on manufacturing sector

This research is based on the question of whether organizational resilience capacity has a mediating role in the effect of environmental turbulence on organizational ambidexterity or not. In this regard, the aim of the research is to determine how organizations can cope with environmental uncertainties with their inherent skills. Within the scope of the literature review, it is seen that environmental turbulence, organizational resilience capacity and organizational ambidexterity are important for organizations. In the first stage of the study, the concepts were explained in detail within the conceptual framework, and then a field study was conducted by selecting manufacturing sector that had not been studied before. Survey method was used as data collection tool. Data were collected from 369 white-collar employees in the manufacturing sector in the central districts of Konya Province. The data was analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and AMOS 29.0. According to the results, the main hypothesis of the research; "Organizational resilience capacity has a mediating role in the effect of environmental turbulence on organizational resilience." was confirmed. According to other analyzes; it was concluded that environmental turbulence has a positive effect on organizational resilience capacity, organizational resilience capacity has a positive effect on organizational ambidexterity, and environmental turbulence has a positive effect on organizational ambidexterity. Finally, it was also analyzed whether the concepts of environmental turbulance, organizational resilince and organizational ambidexterity differed in terms of some demographic variables.
