The Ceyb-i Hümâyûn Treasure and Topkapı Palace Museum Archives JC. 1288 (DC. 1872) dated Ceyb and Harc-i Hâssa Account Books translation and evaluation

Success requires a very good treasure, a good treasure requires success with this utterance, all of the governments from past to present determined a full treasure as their basic aim. Since its foundation Ottoman Government had given importence to treasure, too. This study carries out claim to reach a synthesis by classifying and evaluating JC.1288 (DC.1872) dated Ceyb and Harc-ı Hassa notebooks? transcription according to main history methodology. Meanwhile, this study aims to present Ceyb-i Hümâyûn Treasure which was Ottoman Government?s interior treasure in its historical progress so as to caprice our synthesis on reliable basics. To this end, this study is examined in four sections. Introduction is announced in first section. Ottoman center finance system, Ottoman treasure system, since the foundation of Ottoman Empire Ceyb-i Hümâyûn Treasure in its historical progress is described and Sultan Abdülaziz period in which JC.1288 dated our notebooks was examined around social, political and financial surroundings along with transcription of JC.1288 dated Ceyb and Harc-ı Hassa account books in second section. Third section covers, material and methodology. In fourth section, account books were evaluated around history methodology. Twelve account books each one covers a month transcribed. These account books which contain of the income and outcome of Ottoman Sultan important for what Ceyb-i Hümâyûn treasure expresses, the place in Ottoman treasure system the relationship between other treasures, Ottoman palace life and religion effects on Ottomans. Income and outcome departments were classified and evaluated in the evaluation section of the study and datum were presented by supporting with table and shapes.
