Education in the works of Ceyhun Atuf Kansu

Ceyhun Atuf Kansu, who is known with his poetry, stories and essays in the Turkish Literature of the Republic period, also known as a pediatric, is considered as both children poet and poet of love with his written works aspect. Considering his works and profession he has written through out his life, it is seen that he aims tos erve all Anatolian people from the student to the teacher , from the youngest to the oldest in various ways. During this service, on the road drawn by Atatürk, he aimed to educate the society while giving his works with the power of understanding him. Ceyhun Atuf Kansu has been included in the life of the Anatolian people with the responsibility given by the profession of medicine, not from a distance and in his works, he expressed the struggles, livelihoods, pains, diseases, longings and joys of the Anatolian people with an enthusiastic saying and a simple and fluent Turkish. Kansu tried to convey all the values of the national War of Independence in his works like a teacher. He not only geographically depicted Anatolia he visited, but also tried to keep the social memory alive by noting the historical realities, cultural and artistic structure of Anatolia and in this way not to leave the line of Atatürk's revolutions and Republican values as a solution offer. In this study, Kansu 's thoughts about education are tried to be adressed through his works and his life. The study was conducted with archive scanning and document analysis methods. Within the framework of these methods, how Ceyhun Atuf Kansu's educational approach to art is reflected in his works and the elements of education in his poems, stories and essays are examined.
