Çiftçilerin işbirliği ve pazarlık gücü: Analitik kabiliyetin aracılık rolü

The agriculture sector is one of the interesting sectors that can provide unique insights on how farmers can collaborate with competitors to achieve common goals. The farmers' alliances are based on the sharing of information, challenge sanctions, research, collective decision-making about the scale of production, and an agreed negotiation with the contractors/market. This study explored the coopetition (simultaneous cooperation and competition) among agriculture farmers to increase their bargaining power. This study has developed and test a theoretical framework to advance the coopetition strategy and its relationship with the bargaining power of farmers. The cross-sectional survey was used to collect the data from individual farmers from Baghdad, Iraq. The study chooses convenience sampling easy to contact and reach farmers and get 208 valid responses. The study has tested a mediating model using regression analysis and all four hypotheses were found statistically significant. The study has found the formation and formalization of the coopetitive relationships positively affect the bargaining power of the individuals. Moreover, the study also contributed to highlight the importance of the context that plays a significant role in inducing coopetition among individuals or organizations. The study also suggests some future research directions such as a diverse sample from different geographical locations can provide a basis for generalization.
