Abstract (EN)
Early age dimensional stability of cement based composites developed by different researchers has been examined within the scope of this research. Also, preliminary tests were performed using different types of chemical plasticizer admixtures in various cement paste mixtures with water/cement (w/c) ratios between 0.35 ? 0.60. The admixture dosages and water/cement ratios that are used in the mixtures have been chosen based on the results of preliminary tests. The mechanical properties of mortar samples which were prepared with different types of plasticizers were also determined in this research. Finally, in case of 20 degree temperature and hundred percent relative humidity (autogenous situation) early shrinkage values of the mixtures prepared by using three different plasticizers were measured by using laser sensor measurement method. And the effect of different types of plasticizers on the early shrinkage behavior of cement pastes have been discussed. In addition to these studies, the effects of different types of plasticizing admixtures on cement paste properties have been investigated.
