Abstract (EN)

Today comics are almost like a symbol of consumption. This art form is being treated like it has to feed the hungry belly of the consumer society. It was only recently Comics are classified as an art form. In many source this form of art shown as it belongs to 20th century. Some comic historians indicate that Richard Fenton Outcalt's comic strip: The Yellow Kid (1896) should be accepted as the first printed comic in the history. Also according to some historians any cave painting or hieroglyphics could be considered as the first comic attempt. Beside all this can be said that comic itself did bloom in the hands of satire. The writer will try to look through the keyhole to the dark history of comic and how it encounter with printmaking. In this thesis comic will reveal itself in the hands of Töpffer and Hogarth.
