Abstract (EN)
The Zero Degree Calorimeter (ZDC) is one of the sub detectors of the CMS experiment. The design of the ZDC includes two independent calorimeter sections: an electromagnetic section and a hadronic section. Sampling calorimeters using tungsten and quartz fibers have been chosen for the energy measurements. The ZDC will measure neutrons and very forward photons in the heavy?ion and early (low luminosity) p-p collisions. In this study, we have developed a prototype which is current splitter circuit for ZDC detectors.
