An investigation of 100 basic works in terms of children relativity principles

In the study, scanning model is used. In the study, analysis of documents is conducted. Document analyses is obtained by analysing 77 books, including tales, stories and novels of "100 Basic Works" to be more specific, features such as; teaching and comprehending, advicesand orders, fear and pprehension, ideological statements, sex discriminations, dreams of sweetness and light, traditional values, sanctions and rules, one and unchanging truths, exaggerated curiosity and extremely emotional items and violence are coded on a sentence level in each book. The sentences are categorised according to their educational feature Thus, educational features of these 77 books which are subject of the study are analysed and determined. As a result, it is revealed that analyzed 77 books of 100 Fundamental Works (MEB 2005) which is chosen on.
