Özet (EN)

From the begining of humanity people have tried to create a family. Most of the people who wants to create a family, wants to have children. At this point, importance of having children is not an ignorable fact. The aim of this research is determining happiness and psychological resilience of married and unmarried individuals with children. The datas of the research were collected by total 120 as 56 unmarried individuals and 64 married individuals with children from different states of Turkey. In this research, Demografic İnformation Form created by the researcher, Oxford Happiness Quastionnaire Short Form and Ego-Resilience Scale applied on volunteered participants. In the result of analysis, according to unmarried individuals with children's gender, there is significant difference for happiness scale term between groups. Happiness level of women was determined as higher than man's happiness level. A significant statistical correletion was observed between psychologic resilience scale points of married individuals with children and happiness scale points of these individuals. Hence the individuals with children have higher happiness level as they have higher psychological resilience level. Key Words : Happiness, psychological resilience, marital status.
