Research of the relationship between perceived social support of girls 12-18 years old and ability of desicion-making at children support centers : Sample of İç Anadolu

Psychosocial support services for children victims of sexual exploitation are presented in the Child Support Centers in Turkey. Care, education, health, individual counseling and group work that differ according to the age and situation of children for the disadvantaged children who have been exposed to sexual exploitation in CODEM are presented in the context of the child's individual needs within the scope of the Child Support Program. In this study, the social support perceptions of the children staying in ÇODEM and their perceptions and the factors affecting them will be evaluated and this study will be done in this study and the social support perception and decision making ability of the girls aged 12-18 years in ÇODEM will be investigated. The sample of the research; Ankara, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Konya and Niğde. where is in Ic Anatolia Region, Child Support Centers affiliated to Provincial Directorates constitute girls who are under protection and care and whose ages are between 12-18. The data of perceived social support of the teenagers is gathered from Personal Information Form, "Perceived Social Support Scale / PSSS-R" (Yıldırım, 2004), and the data of decision making behaviour of the teenagers is gathered from "Adolescent Decision Making Questionnaire / ADMQ (Çolakkadıoğlu, 2003) in this research. As a result of research, it was found that the children who live in CODEM had a higher level of social support perceptions and decision-making. Also, it was found to be correlated between social support subscales and desicion making subscales and it was found affected that the children's who live in CODEM perceptions of social supoort ande desicion making skills to educational status, duration of stay in the center, family income status, leave status, relatives to visit, the person who best understands herself and the person she feels is supportive in times of bad feeling.
