Özet (EN)

Juvenile delinquency is a critical phenomenon molded by various social, economic, and psychological aspects of individuals in their growing phase. Experiences such as exposure to abuse during childhood and adolescence demonstrate that such processes can lead children to a predisposition for violence. Over the years, they may develop to exhibit criminal behavior. In this respect, removing juvenile delinquency and the reintegration of children who enter a criminal life into society has been the subject of an exhaustive study of literature in this area. The present study employs bibliometric analysis and text mining methods to present the numerical data collected from academic studies in the field. This study also aims to determine trends, gaps, and potential future research areas considering these data in the census of juvenile delinquency literature. This study evaluated the research on juvenile delinquency and rehabilitation processes, alongside collaborations among authors and the most cited publications over time. The findings of this study offer essential recommendations for policymakers, academics, and practitioners, laying the groundwork for strategies to enhance the effectiveness of juvenile delinquency prevention and rehabilitation processes.
