Abstract (EN)
This study aims to investigate the effects of dynamic and static stretching exercises on some physical and physiological characteristics of 11-14 age group football players before and after training. This is an experimental study. In this study, 36 healthy male students who played in the football team of the Çetinkaya-Biran Şendil secondary school in the village of Burunçayır in Besni district of Adıyaman participated voluntarily. The students were divided into 3 groups according to their age distribution. The subjects and control groups in our study participated in regular trainings for 8 weeks, 3 days a week, approximately 80 - 85 minutes per day. These groups consisted of 12 people performing a dynamic stretching exercise before and after training and 12 people performing the static stretching exercise. In addition to dynamic and static stretching exercises, 12 people in the control group did warm- up exercises just before training. 36 male football players participated in the study were measured in the pre-test and post-test; height, weight, Vki, flexibility, push-ups, shuttle, twisted arm test, vertical jump, measuring arm movement speed, 30 m speed, 1 mile (1609m) running, anaerobic power. For applied measurements; Adıyaman Provincial Directorate of National Education required permission. Parents' consent form was obtained from the parents of footballer children via the consent form. As a result; it might be said that especially dynamic stretching exercises performed befor and after school team training for 8 weeks in children aged 11-14 have positive effects on strength,aerobic and anaerobic power, flexibility and speed characteristics.
