Özet (EN)

The effects of global climate change; Although it is known as the shift of climate zones, the occurrence of series in air temperatures, the melting of glaciers, the rise in sea levels due to the melting of glaciers, the severe storms and demonstrations brought by these episodes cause an increase in the course and risk of flood events. On top of this, extreme weather events and meteorological disasters have been experienced in recent years. Among these, floods and overflows are considered as one of the most devastating dangers and cause serious loss of life and property. Floods are the natural disasters that cause the greatest loss of life and property after natural disasters such as drought, earthquake and storm in Turkey. Therefore, flood mapping is a very important component used by the flood risk management. In this study, the part between Çankırı-Ankara highway Eldivan junction and Süleymanlı village was considered as the study area in order to carry out flood risk analysis of Çankırı Acıçay River. Surfer software was used to obtain and examine the three-dimensional model of the basin. In order to create the analysis geometry, a total of 143 cross-sections were defined in Autocad Civil 3D using the 1/25000 scaled map. The cross-sections were exported to the HEC-RAS software and analyzed according to the flow rates of Q2, Q5, Q10, Q25, Q50, Q100, Q500 and flood spread maps were obtained as a result of the analysis. Evaluations were made and suggestions were made according to the result of the flood spread map according to the most unfavorable condition.
