Abstract (EN)

At a time when we are on the coordinates of ontological extinction and in a society programmed for self-destruction, attempts to describe the manifesto and course of the 'new' social are essential. In a world where the collapse of the planet and the collapse of the social are articulated with each other, in a deadly intersectionality of multiple crises, this research is a manifestation of the aim of contributing to the discussions on the construction of an alternative social with a 'new' life paradigm and route for our social integrity, common life and the relationship patterns established with the natural world. The aim of this research is to remind us of the organic roots of humanity's social evolution that are not based on oppression, hierarchy, domination and exploitation, and to draw attention to the existence of another kind of life and alternative sociality in the species-historical past of humanity itself. In this context, an examination and analysis will be carried out on the social organization model of Sarıkeçili nomads, one of the last nomadic communities in Anatolia, their traditional primitive way of life, the archetypes of their relationship with the organic world, and the crises they experience today in their ancient habitats and migration corridors, especially climatic-ecological collapse. This research, which aims to see life, nature and the organic world through the eyes of Sarıkeçili nomads, is based on qualitative methodology. As a result of the research, it was determined that the most basic principles regulating the lives of Sarıkeçili nomads are labor, flexibility and animal welfare. The labor hierarchy regulates intra-community power relations and the mass administration of the community. Flexibility, quick adaptability and immediate mobilization are the survival strategies of the community. The migration movements of Sarıkeçili nomads are determined by the well-being and welfare of their animals. The number of Sarıkeçili households is gradually decreasing as a result of the severe effects of the climate crisis, economic dilemmas and socio-political problems. It was found that Sarıkeçilis have been squeezed into very small geographies and living corridors in recent years, mostly due to the climate crisis. Furthermore, it has been determined that the difficulty of sustaining life has led to sedentarization and laborization; in addition, socio-political impositions have created pressure to be expelled from their ancient habitat areas. In the final analysis, the traditional cultural life practices of the Sarıkeçili nomads and their social struggle to protect the rights and welfare of all living beings in their living basins and to adapt to today's post-modern world with minimal distortion prove that this story is much more than a nostalgic emulation and is a source for discussions on the construction of an alternative sociality.
