Abstract (EN)

From the earliest times of humanity, an epidemic has been encountered at least once in almost every century. These epidemics affect countries very badly in many areas. The most important of the economically affected sectors is tourism, especially medical tourism. Due to medical tourism, foreign currency inflows to the country by citizens living abroad have created a great burden on the country's economy. This study will be a thesis study that will analyze the effect of the Covid 19 epidemic on medical tourism in the form of a descriptive qualitative systematic review. In the light of this information, the start and end times of the studies that we will examine are in a very narrow range. In the research, however, to obtain more information (for in-depth research), articles published between 2010-2020 in our Google Scholar range and theses written between 2019-2021 and reached using the YÖK National Thesis Center database are included. In this context; A total of 14 theses and articles consisting of social, natural and medical sciences were included. These studies were examined within the framework of 5 parameters (objective research model, data collection tools, data analysis and research results). It is thought that this systematic review made in the last part will contribute to new studies on covid and medical tourism.
