Abstract (EN)

The main goal of present study is a studying the prevlance and effectiveness of DM with iron defeciencey anemia by assesment the level of ferritin, HbAIc, and iron with some risk factor as age and gender. This investigation revealed the following results: (50) Patient Diagnosis for Diabetes Patients with diabetes ranged in age from 13 (26 percent) to 23 (46 percent) and 14 (28 percent), with diabetes being present in all of them. Sixty-six percent of the patients were men, while just one-third of the patients were women. Total iron binding capacity (TIBC) decreased significantly (37.63 ±7.63 mmol/L compared to 51.32 ±19.18 mmol/L, respectively remission patients as compared to control subjects (P < 0.0001).The mean serum FBS level was considerably higher in patients who were in remission 139.31±40.78 mg/dL compared to controls' 89.13±26.63 mg/dL p=0.001 compared to controls. Also according to these finding, the mean serum ferritin concentrations of DM patients during remission are statistically significantly higher than those of healthy individuals [P=0.001]. here was a statistically significant rise in the mean HBAIC% in DM patients during remission, with values of (9.64 ±2.76 ,5.6 ±1.33, respectively P=0.003. In a serum insulin investigation, diabetic patients had significantly lower mean blood insulin levels than healthy individuals. Keywords: Type 2 diabetes mellitus, Ferritin, S.
