Aim: This research was conducted to determine the effect of healthcare professionals health news perception levels on psychological resilience of during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Material and Method: This research is a descriptive study. The population of the research consisted of a total of 950 healthcare professionals working in Ergani State Hospital and Ergani Family Health Center (Ergani Family Health Center No: 1, Ergani Family Health Center No:2, Ergani Family Health Center No:3, Ergani Family Health Center No:12, Ergani Saray Family Health Center and Ergani Mustafa Topalan Family Health Center) between January 2021-June 2022. In the power analysis performed to determine the sample size of the research, 210 healthcare workers were taking the medium effect value as a reference. The research was completed with 650 healthcare workers the specified dates. 'Personal Presentation Form', 'Health News Perception Scale' and Psychological Resilience Scale' were used to collect data. Results: The mean age of the participants was 30.86±5.1, 52.3 % of them were women, 55.1 % were married, 51.2 % were undergraduate graduates. It was determined that 80.8 % of the participants got information about COVID-19 front television. The total mean scores of the participants perception of health news and psychological resilience were found to be 75.83±0.64 and 19.65±2.46, respectively. A significant relationship was found between psychological resilience, level of perception of health news and its subdimension (( p<0.005). It has been determined that the perception health news has an effect of .525 on resilience (ß = .525, R2 =.606, p<0.005). Conclusion: It has been observed that the resilience status and the level of health news perception affects the resilience status. For this reason, individuals psychological resilience can be preserved by creating conscious awareness and improving their perception of health news.
