The COVID-19 disease has caused the death of many people in recent years and has adversely affected not only physical but also mental health. During the pandemic, businesses other than health services and some businesses have been closed for a long time. During the pandemic, businesses other than health services and some businesses have been closed for a long time. Due to the quarantine, difficulties have arisen for individuals, parents and their children who are confined to their homes and have to work from home. In addition to the negative impact of COVID-19 on mental health, children have continued their education from their homes due to the conditions of the new order it brings, the mother have continued to work from home, the increase in the role of the mother as a caregiver, as well as the addition of the responsibilities brought by the role of the educator, the mothers' parental burnout levels and psychological distress. Children are expected to be affected by their mothers' psychological distress, parental burnout, and parental attitudes. In this thesis, the effects of parental burnout, psychological distress and parental attitudes of mothers who had to work from home on their children's emotional and behavioral disorders were investigated. Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10-PDS), Parental Burnout Inventory (PBI), Family Life and Child-Rearing Attitude Scale (PARI) and Strength and Difficulties Scale (SDQ) were used. Correlation analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis were used to analyze the findings obtained from the research. According to the analysis a positive signigicant correlation was found between PBI, PARI, K10-PDS and SDQ. On the other hand, it has been shown that the sub-dimension of over protection, psychological distress, emotional exhaustion, emotional distance and living with grandparents working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic explain the 27,2% variance in the SDQ. In addition to this it was found that the levels of PARI, K10-PDS and PBI differ according to the education levels of the mothers.
