Abstract (EN)
The COVID-19 pandemic, which started at the end of 2019, continues to threaten all countries. Because of the epidemic process, the Ministry of Education has made EBA, a distance education platform, available to teachers and students at all levels with a live lessons module. The aim of this study is to analyze the opinions and uses of students regarding EBA, the distance education platform of the Ministry of Education, as a result of the decommissioning of face to face education in the pandemic process and to assess the efficiency of web based education in this process. The survey form was used as data collection tool in the research. The 'Students ' Educational Information Network (EBA) use purpose and EBA opinion survey 'was used to determine students' views on EBA. The study group was 234 students from 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th classes at Bahtiyar vahapzade secondary school under the Ministry of Education in Mamak district of Ankara province. All data obtained through surveys prepared from the students participating in the study were analyzed using the SPSS 21 for Windows package program. T test, ANOVA, Mann Whitney U test were applied to determine the statistical significance of the data. Cross-tables were used to show the relationships of variables obtained from the data with each other. According to the results of the study, it has been observed that students have been using EBA for a long time, the majority of students use EBA "sometimes", they use commonly "mobile phones" to log in to EBA, they use mostly "live lessons" among the sections of EBA. In the process of the COVID-19 pandemic; when their opinions on the use of EBA were evaluated;, students stated that they agreed the "I actively participate in classes with the use of EBA" and "I think that if EBA is developed, it will contribute positively to education" items of survey. The opinions of the students about the EBA compared by gender, by according to the devices they use to log in to the EBA, by according to the internet at home, by according to the duration of recognizing the EBA, by according to the sections they use in the EBA. there was no significant difference between the opinions.
