Abstract (EN)

Aim: In our study, it is aimed to investigate the clinical attitudes and behaviors of pediatric dentists with the new normalization period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and Methods: Our study was organized as a questionnaire between pediatric dentistry specialists working in Turkey and the participants receiving specialization training in this department. A total of 256 people participated in our study, in which the expected prerequisite was to complete the entire test. Results: It was observed that pediatric dentists and their assistant staff paid attention to the use of personal protective equipment and took the necessary precautions in the patient's environment. It was observed that anxiety levels decreased in women and pediatric dentists under the age of 30 according to gender.It was observed that ART, which is one of the treatment methods with less aerosol production, is preferred more by pediatric dentists, especially in university and state hospitals. Conclusion: There is a need for studies with larger participant populations, investigating the clinical attitudes and behaviors of pediatric dentistry, other specialties and general practitioners in this process.
