Abstract (EN)
This research aims to contribute to how the colour of woody landscape plants might change over the course of a year and planting design at Çukurova University campus. The individual plants are selected from ten year old plants and mature plants in many different areas on the campus. Seventy six individual plant species are selected from seventeen plant families for weekly observation for a year. In one year, a total of 45 observations was made and the following data was collected, changes and rate of change of the leaf-color, timing and rate of leaf-fall, first leafing dates and rate of leafing, first and last flowering dates and rate of flowering, first and last fruiting dates and rate of fruiting. Also the individuals of plant species'usefulness of habitat-relationship has been discovered. In all periods, the data which were effective in bringing together the colors of the species have been introduced. In addition to these observations colorimeter, L (white to black), a (green to red) b (blue to yellow) values were also measured a total of thirty times in the laboratory during periods of leafing and flowering. In the summer leaves are completely homogeneous in cover and for some plants this is limited to once a month during the time observations. Leaf-fall is completed in winter. Throughout the summer period, the plants are homogeneous in color and observation is limited to once a month. By winter, leaf-fall is completed. During the observation period, a total of 9550 photographs of individual species were taken for the study. In an attempt to create a perception of the colors to be used in the design for the years of the products discussed, a number of recommendations have been developed.
