Abstract (EN)
The novel is a reflection of the thought and aesthetic structure of the society from which it emerges. In his/her novel, the author reflects the history, socio-cultural structure, social and political changes of the society to which he/she belongs. The novel written with this understanding expresses the realities of the society in which the author lives. The author should skillfully process all these realities in his novel and succeed in presenting new perspectives and interpretations to his society. When we look at the novel genre in Turkish literature, it is seen that novels written on the basis of belief (sectarian) are not common. In some novels, due to the existing reality of the place where the events take place, the Alevi faith, faith-based traditions and customs, and lifestyles had to be mentioned. Oral tradition is the most important tool for the transmission of Alevi literature to the present day. The written tradition has been somewhat weak at this point. There are not many novels that deal with Alevism as a main or secondary theme, reflecting the daily life, belief rituals, customs and traditions of Alevis. These novels date back to recent history, and in these novels, it is seen that the authors look at the Alevi faith from different perspectives. Alevism, which contains very rich cultural elements, religious rituals and value judgments, has found its reflection in novels within this framework. In this study, it is attempted to reveal how and in what ways the belief in Alevism is reflected in the post-Republican Turkish novel, to integrate and interpret the scattered data obtained from the novels selected as a sample within a system and to reach a general judgment. Keywords: novel, Alevism, Alevism's belief ritual.
