Taxonomic and morphometric (geometric) analysis of species curculio nucum (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Curculioninae)

In this study, year of 2016 May, June and between the months of July Niğde/Ulukışla and Kırşehir/Çiçekdağ collected from the region, family of Curculionidae species of Curculio nucum taxonomic and geometric morphometric analysis performed. The samples collected for study, Anatolian Valonia Oak (Quercus ithaburensis subsp. macrolepis) ıt collected over. Study female and male sample impending, over total 100 sample be carried out. Çiçekdağ and Ulukışla samples femur, pronotum and rostrum characters sexual dimorphism and shape variations compared for detection. In this study, geometric morphometrics analyses using Tps programs, statistical analyses was performed using Statistica 12.5 program. Curculio nucum's Çiçekdağ and Ulukışla example of sexual dimorphism in femur (p = 0,002799), pronotum (p = 0,000019) and rostrum (p = 0,00) characters statistically significant. Given the variation in shape between femur (p = 0,996792), pronotum (p = 0,983988) ve rostrum (p = 0,503009) characters between difference in form, ıt is not statistically significant.
