Examination of cost elements in drip irrigation projects

Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to evaluate the drip irrigation systems prepared and applied for citrus orchards. Using 3-year data in 2017, 2018 and 2019, the distribution of 276 irrigation system projects according to districts, neighborhoods and villages, system parts and performance studies of these parts were made. A total of 276 projects were examined, 84 in 2017, 97 in 2018 and 95 in 2019. Depending on these projects, 27 out of 276 projects were fully implemented (excavation works, labor, engine and filter assembly, etc.). According to the results of the research, the projects implemented for the area size results were between 0-50 , 101-200 and 301-500 decares the average acreage cost were calculated as $336,40, $294,00 and $199,40, respecitively. When the projects implemented are examined in terms of average cost calculation by water source type, the average cost of 15 projects whose water source is kanalet is calculated as $262.92. In terms of average cost according to the engine powers used, the average cost of 17 hp and 31-45 Kw pumps were calculated as $315.83 and $289,90. When the automation status of the valve stations in the projects implemented in 2019 is examined in terms of average cost according to the automation status at the valve station, the average cost of the 10 projects with automation is $238.69 and the average cost of the 5 projects without automation is calculated as $311.36. As a result of these researches, it is seen that Adana farmers are a conscious farmer group. In addition, it can be stated that there are producers that are open to innovations (automation, use of hydraulic valves and use of automatic filters) and have a goal-oriented portfolio, not a price-oriented one.
