Abstract (EN)

Consumer behavior is influenced by sensory, informational and social factors. Behavioral economics, the rising branch of economic science, examines these behaviors in terms of psychological and economic aspects. Behavioral economics, adopted by traditional economics and discussing rationalism, looks at economic decisions from a different perspective, with psychology findings. The unexpected decisions people make in uncertainty and risk situations are examined by economists. However, the importance of the concept of trust, which is perhaps one of the most crucial points of the functioning of the economy, has been examined. In this analysis, it is tried to emphasize the trust problem by associating with the behavioral economy the expectations of consumers in their economic decisions. In this study, how behavioral economics is formed, the concept of consumption and consumer, the transformation of traditional economy which is accepted as the main line of economy, the change of rationality in consumer perspective and the importance of trust in economic formation are examined. Keywords Behavioral economics, consumer, consumer behavior, trust, the problems of trust and expectations
