Magical realism in Dede Dorkut narratives

"Dede Korkut Narratives", has an important place in the history of Turkish literature as stories about the Turkish culture, language, history, literature and culture, which have been taken after the acceptance of Islam by the Turks and have a rich cultural background and content. Dede Korkut, who has a very important place in Turkish literature, has studied the elements of fantasy and magical reality in his thesis work "Magical Reality in Dede Korkut Narratives" which was prepared to contribute to previous works by giving a different dimension to his works. Based on the Dresden Nude of Dede Korkut 12 narratives in this copy were examined and interpreted within the scope of "Magical Realism". From these twelve narratives, the rich culture, deep-rooted history, time and part of space, life and faith of the Turkish people have been evaluated in the context of "magical realism" and "fantastic".
