The effects of the decisions of the Democratic Party on economic policies, their effects and results

Rather than the dynamics of liberal economy in Turkey being structured by economical rules political decisions direct and place importance on economic practices, and these decisions will bring applicable perspectives to the politics of subsequent governments. The term "political economy" has come up which means politics can not be separated from economy but both are handled together, that economical decisions determine the political decisions and parallelly political decisions and institutions determine economical activities. The politics of Democrat Party period and the attained results will be presented considering the basic macroeconomical variances. The decisions made and the practices during the political process will be analyzed through the technics, methods and means of economics. During the DP period when the efforts of passing on private enterprise and open economy from an interventionist economical structure escalated, structural transformations have taken place in both politics and economy.
