His life from his release to his death is discussed. While these studies were made around Osman Kavrakoğlu, an important political figure, it was also tried to reflect the political understanding of the period and what happened at that time. Osman Kavrakoğlu is a member of the Kavrakzade family, one of the well-established and prominent families of Rize, and is the son of Hacı İbrahim Efendi. He lost his father when he was only one year old and was taken to Istanbul by leaving Rize through his older brother. Osman Kavrakoğlu completed his primary education at Beyoğlu Primary School and his secondary education at Istanbul Erkek High School. Later, He entered Istanbul University Faculty of Law and after graduating from there, he worked as a prosecutor and judge. During his duty, he met important political figures of the period such as Celal Bayar and Adnan Menderes and established close relations with them, and with the 14 May 1950 elections, he was entitled to enter the Parliament as a DP Rize deputy. Although he was not included in the core staff of the Democratic Party, he had a say in the important decisions of the party in a short time. From the moment he was elected to the parliament, he served as the deputy of Rize until the May 27, 1960, Military Intervention. He was tried in Yassıada because of his political activities and his work. Although he was sentenced to death as a result of the Yassıada trials, his sentence was later commuted to life imprisonment. Osman Kavrakoğlu, whose conviction lasted for four years, was released in 1964 with an amnesty for DP members. Osman Kavrakoğlu, who could not take a role in active politics due to his political ban, continued his life as the club manager of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, where he took active roles before.
