HYDROGEOLOGIC INVESTIGATION OF THE TEKKAHAMAM (DENIZLI) GEOTHERMAL FIELD This study contains hdyrogeological, hydrogeochemical and isotopic investigations of Denizli Tekkehamam geothermal field and nearby that field. Tekkehamam geothermal field is located at northwest of Denizli city, south of Kizildere geothermal field, southeast of Yenicekent-Gölemezli geothermal fields and east section of Buyuk Menderes Graben. In the study area there are, with this order, Paleozoic Menderes Massive metamorfics, and Neogene Kızılburun, Sazak, Kolonkaya and formations. Alluvium and alluvial fan cover all the units. In the study area, while Sazak Formation and Menderes Massive Metamorfics are the reservoir of the geothermal system, alluvium is the aquifer of the cold waters. The schists of Menderes Massive rocks and Kolonkaya and Tosunlar formations are the cap rock of the geothermal systems. Seven cold water samples were taken from three different cold water source in the working field and also in total eighteen hot water samples were taken from four different hot water source and cation and anion analysis were done. The examined types of water are generally in the type of Na-SO4-HCO3. When the examined hot waters were classified according to the Electirical Conductivity, it was seen that they were classified as "suspicious-cannot be used", but the cold waters were classified as "can be used". Working field's hot waters were exposed to geothermometer analysis and it was seen that the hot waters were classified as immature, crude. When all geothermometer results and available wells? reservoir heats are considered together, İt is estimated that geothermal waters' chamber rock heat is 48-283ºC.
