Editing in Derviş Zaim's cinema

With the birth of cinema, fiction became the art of cinema. With the early years of cinema, fiction has developed in parallel. In this context, fiction has continuously improved with the theories of various theorists related to fiction. The concept of "Auteur", which emerged with such the development of cinema and fiction, has given cinema a different perspective. With the concept of "Auteur", new and young directors started to produce films under the name of independent cinema or director's cinema, and this interaction also manifested itself in Turkish cinema after the Yesilçam period. In the context of independent cinema, which is described as director's cinema, Derviş Zaim became one of the directors who had concerns about making cinema and created Derviş Zaim Cinema. All of Derviş Zaim's films have received national and international awards. It can be assumed that the dramatic power and player management in his story, as well as the technique of fiction, are important. In this context, derviş Zaim cinema will contribute academically to studies related to the use of fiction in Dervis Zaim and Turkish Cinema by examining the use of fiction as a means of creating cinematic meaning, and the possibility of funding for future academic studies is also considered.
