Usage of miniature art in the Cinema of Dervis Zaim (Belgesel)

In this documentary, starting from the idea of how to create an original language of cinema, remarks and opinions on the ways of inspirations by the traditional arts have been presented. The opinions of Derviş Zaim –the scenarist and director of the example movie-, Özcan Özcan –who contributed to the movie with his miniatures- and experts on cinema have been used.In order to reveal the purpose of the documentary, besides the creation process of the Cenneti Beklerken movie, the way how Derviş Zaim used the traditional arts (miniature, ebru, hat, gölge oyunu) has been extracted as quest for an original cinema language.Besides the theoretical works on the usage of the traditional arts in cinema, in the view of the fact that visual works are limited, it is considered that the present work will have contributions.
