Abstract (EN)
A case-control design was employed in this investigation. According to the sickness prevalence and sample size method, 45 people with acute renal failure and 45 healthy individuals were included in this study (controls). Dialysis patients and control subjects with similar demographic characteristics had similar levels of urea nitrogen in their blood, and the levels of urea, creatinine, renal damage molecule-1, and cystatin C were examined. The demographic data (age and gender) of the patients and control participants did not differ statistically significantly, according to the statistical analysis of this study. The present study of patients found a very significant increase in the mean levels of serum urea and creatinine in patients with chronic renal failure (P < 0.001), in addition to a significantly higher level of serum KIM-1 in the CKD groups. Inpatient people are be in control groups (P < 0.001). In the diseased groups, the levels of cystatin C in the blood were significantly higher than in the control groups (healthy individuals) (P < 0.001).
