Abstract (EN)

This research addresses the critical challenges faced by France-based companies in their recruitment processes, particularly focusing on personnel selection methods and sourcing channels. The study aims to answer four key questions: identifying the main recruitment challenges, exploring optimization strategies, determining critical factors influencing recruitment effectiveness, and adapting multicriteria aspects for the private sector in France. These questions are vital due to the competitive nature of the French job market, where recruitment is advanced yet still fraught with difficulties. The methodology involved doing a comprehensive literature review and theoretical research were conducted to identify the latest findings and theories in this subject. It also involved a qualitative study involving interviews with five experts which provided in-depth insights to discover trend hiring practices. The methodology also involved utilizing the annual recruitment data collected by The Association for the Recruitment of Employees in France from a broad sample of companies (after securing their consent). The study revealed best practices, strategies, and methods to enhance recruitment effectiveness. It led to the development of a multicriteria decision-making model designed to assist recruitment professionals in optimizing their hiring processes. The conclusions drawn highlight the importance of a flexible, adaptable model capable of aligning with evolving market dynamics and best practices, ultimately improving recruitment outcomes in France.
