Abstract (EN)

Microswimmers are small robots with the ability to swim in a liquid environment which opens a new world in biomedical fields. Impressive applications of microswimmers are in microsurgery, drug delivery, cargo transport, sensing, and imaging. According to the small size of milli/microswimmers, restrictions to accessing sensitive and inaccessible body parts could be eliminated. Also, controlling the efficiency of these small robots decreases the side effects of drugs. Its impact on cancer treatments with chemotherapeutic drugs could not be ignorable. Therefore, according to the aim of usage and tasks of microswimmers, scientists should consider specific material properties with complex designs, movements, and control behaviors. Within the scope of the project, an extrusion-based 3D printer and the Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing technique are used in which diamagnetic milli/micron powders are loaded and diamagnetic milli-swimmers are obtained. Diamagnetic milli/microswimmers' movements kinetics, and velocity investigate in the liquid medium under the magnetic field gradient.
